In der zu behandelnden Abluft findet man neben Formaldehyd auch Methanol, Ammoniak und Geruchsstoffe. Zudem wird die Abluft zun\u00e4chst gewaschen, d.h. sie ist zus\u00e4tzlich mit Wasserdampf ges\u00e4ttigt oder \u00fcbers\u00e4ttigt.<\/p>\n

Besonders kritisch wird der Luftschadstoff Formaldehyd betrachtet, da er als krebserregend gilt. Aufgrund der insgesamt geringen Fracht an fl\u00fcchtigen organischen\u00a0Verbindungen (VOCs) mit max. 300 \u2013 400 mg\/Nm\u00b3 m\u00fcsste man\u00a0bei einer thermischen Oxidation z.B. in einer RTO-Anlage beim\u00a0max. Abluftvolumen von 45.000 Nm\u00b3\/h \u00a0von einem Prim\u00e4renergieverbrauch\u00a0von 900 \u2013 1.000 kW entsprechend ca. 100 m\u00b3 Erdgas oder 45,– \u20ac pro Stunde ausgehen.\u00a0Zudem w\u00fcrde bei der thermischen Oxidation Ammoniak zu NOx\u00a0oxidiert werden, d.h. man w\u00fcrde den einen Luftschadstoff durch einen anderen ersetzen.<\/p>\n

Mit der L\u00f6sung und Ausschreibung des Problems wurde zun\u00e4chst ein renommiertes deutsches Ingenieurb\u00fcro beauftragt.<\/p>\n

Den Wettbewerb um die Lieferung der Abluftreinigungsanlage hat die Firma RELOX TECHNIK GmbH aus Bremen gegen die zahlreiche nationale und internationale Konkurrenz gewonnen.\u00a0Konzipiert worden ist dann eine katalytisch regenerative Oxidationsanlage f\u00fcr ein Abluftvolumen von 45.000 Nm\u00b3\/h mit den folgenden Zielen:<\/p>\n

\u2022Nahezu vollst\u00e4ndige Abreinigung von Formaldehyd.<\/p>\n

\u2022Weitgehende Abreinigung von Methanol.<\/p>\n

\u2022Teilweise Oxidation von Ammoniak zu elementaren Stickstoff.<\/p>\n

\u2022M\u00f6glichst geringer Energieverbrauch.<\/p>\n

Das Hauptproblem beim Bau katalytischer Abluftreinigungsanlagen ist neben der Auswahl geeigneter Katalysatoren die anlagentechnische Konstruktion zur\u00a0Vermeidung von Luftbyp\u00e4ssen vorbei am Katalysator.\u00a0Die Anlage wurde im Februar 2014 geliefert und anschlie\u00dfend in Betrieb genommen. Die feierliche offizielle Einweihung erfolgte durch die rheinland-pf\u00e4lzische Wirtschaftsministerin Eveline Lemke am 10. Mai 2014.<\/p>\n

Die RELOX KRV-Anlage funktioniert seither zur gro\u00dfen Zufriedenheit der Firma Ineos.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Die angestrebten Emissionsgrenzwerte und der prognostizierte Energieverbrauch wurden unterschritten. Die Formaldehydemission liegt deutlich unterhalb von 1 mg\/Nm\u00b3.<\/p>\n

Das Projekt wurde von der Europ\u00e4ischen Union im Rahmen des\u00a0Life-Programms gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n
